Hi, I'm Sam.

I work in IT, build hardware, and spend a lot of time figuring out how to get things working. So far, that includes infrastructure and automation, a split keyboard with trackballs, drones, an antenna tracker, and more.

With the Tempest Dux, I barreled into designing/modifying a PCB and ended up with a lot more troubleshooting than I expected. It took a while, but I got it working and learned a ton. Now I'm working on the next version.

This site is where I share what I'm building, what went wrong, and what I'm trying next. When I'm building on someone else's work, I'll point you to it too.

I'm trying to keep this in mind: first make it exist, then make it work, then make it beautiful.
